Add Chords
Once you’ve got a general melody going, it’s time to add chords.
Start with a simple, repeated chord pattern and play with the chords and melody until you find something that sticks. Then, record yourself playing and singing (even if it’s just on your smartphone), so you can get your ideas down before forgetting them.
